Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist

Anastacia Badillo, M.S., CCC-SLP is a board-certified bilingual (English/Spanish) speech-language pathologist with extensive experience serving pediatric populations. In her home state of Texas, Anastacia graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2020 and a Master of Science (MS) in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023. In between her undergraduate and graduate studies, she taught English in early childhood schools in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain (Canary Islands) through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. She has experience working with English and Spanish-speaking children of all ages in daycares, clinics, and elementary school settings. While studying towards her master’s degree, Anastacia worked as the graduate assistant to the department co-chair and assisted in research on using dynamic assessment with bilingual populations and teaching first-year graduate students about special topics like trauma-informed care.

Anastacia is passionate about working with children 5 years old and younger. She believes that a strong relationship between therapist, patient, and family is the key to therapeutic success. Anastacia has personal experience caring for loved-ones (younger siblings) with speech and language disorders, fluency disorder, ADHD, and autism. She wholeheartedly believes that this experience helps her more deeply understand her patients and their families. Working at Voz since 2023 has been one of the most rewarding parts of Anastacia’s life and she is thrilled to be on this team and do the work that she does.

Anastacia believes in a multi-sensory approach to therapy that incorporates play-based child-led therapy, therapist-directed therapy, free play, and clear and consistent expectations in order to achieve the greatest therapeutic success possible.
